Maxim Rybin, a development coach for Sochi, has weighed in on Lokomotiv’s victory in the first game of the Gagarin Cup final series against Ak Bars, which ended 3-1.
“Lokomotiv played with tremendous confidence today. Honestly, I didn’t expect that level of performance from them. Their game plan was spot on—one system simply broke the other. I just finished watching the match, and I can say it was excellent hockey,” Rybin said.
