Former Germany national team coach Joachim Loew has made it clear that he is not planning an immediate return to coaching. The 2014 World Cup winner admitted he no longer sees himself on the sidelines and lacks the inner fire required for a head coach role at this stage of his life.
Loew emphasized that passion and desire are essential for any coach. Having been away from football for several years, he expressed uncertainty about whether he still possesses the energy needed to lead a team on a daily, intensive basis. According to Loew, internal motivation is what truly makes a difference in the coaching profession.
However, the 65-year-old did not completely shut the door on a potential comeback. He stated that any future decision would only be made if a suitable and inspiring project arises—one that could reignite his drive. He would only consider an exceptional offer capable of motivating him anew.
Loew also recently dismissed rumors linking him to the Ghana national team job, stressing that talk of his return remains purely speculative at this point.
